Welcome to Term 2

Dear Parents & 4C Children,

We have successfully completed Term 1 of 2010. I hope we have had a good start this year. I'm glad to welcome you to the second term. I must say that this term is a short term compared to the previous term as SA1 exams will kick in very soon. So I need you to be ready to work hard when school reopens!

I would like you to spend quality time both in school and at home while you are involved in learning. Many of you are showing improvement this year in your class work. However, there are still other areas such as homework, project work and using the net to research for your learning needs to improve this term.

I will need you to use the computer more often to access your homework or get information from the net to work on your mini-projects that may be assigned by me or your other subject teachers. Do visit our blog to add in your comments. So far I only have 10 to 13 out of 40 of you who regularly visit the blog and add in comments. The rest are not doing it yet. I hope you will put in effort in these areas.

As for parents, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all those who made time to come and see me during the meet the parents session and to others who managed to make time to have a telephone conversation with me during your busy work schedule. I appreciate it. I hope I have spoken to all of you. If there is anyone I missed, please feel free to contact me. I have given my handphone number to the children. It can be found in their handbook.

Before I end, I would like you to write 3 things that you enjoyed last term and 3 things that you think we should work on to improve this term in your comments. Thank you. Oh and finally, I wish all my 4C children the very best of luck and good health in the upcoming term. Let's work together and make the 4C family shine this year!

Regards,

Mdm Pavithra.
